Heat Exchanger Specialists

What We Do

We provide technical heat exchanger support to mechanical contractors. When a contractor needs to figure out why a chiller evaporator is failing, find a replacement for an obsolete heat exchanger, or get a second opinion on a system design, they call us. We give them a straight answer fast so they can get back to work.

Why We Exist

Mechanical contractors face a problem every time a heat exchanger needs attention. Manufacturers are slow to respond and focused on selling new equipment. Distributors have product knowledge but not deep application expertise. Engineering firms are expensive and booked weeks out.

There was no one a contractor could call for fast, practical, unbiased heat exchanger advice. So we built that company.

How We Are Different

We serve contractors, not manufacturing quotas.

We do not make heat exchangers. We do not represent any manufacturer. Our only interest is helping the contractor get the right answer.

We have been on job sites.

Our team has hands-on experience with heat exchangers in the field. We know what a real mechanical room looks like and what can go wrong when theory meets reality.

We move fast.

When a chiller is down and a building owner is upset, waiting three days for a callback is not acceptable. We respond in hours, not days.

We tell the truth.

Not every problem needs a new heat exchanger. Sometimes a simple adjustment or a cleaning is all it takes. We give honest assessments, even when it means less revenue for us.

Our Background

Heat Exchanger Specialists was founded by people who spent years working in and around the mechanical contracting industry. We saw the same frustration over and over — contractors left on their own when it came to heat exchanger issues. We started this company to be the resource we wished had existed.

Our team includes people with backgrounds in HVAC service, industrial maintenance, thermal engineering, and equipment manufacturing. This range of experience helps us see problems from multiple angles and find solutions that work in the real world.

Who We Work With

We work with mechanical contractors of all sizes, from small service shops to large national contractors. We also support facility engineers, building owners, and equipment distributors who need reliable heat exchanger technical support.

Our Values

  • Practicality. We focus on what works in the field, not what looks good on paper.
  • Honesty. If we do not know something, we say so. If your problem has an easy fix, we tell you.
  • Speed. We respond quickly because we know your window to act is short.
  • Experience. We have seen a lot of heat exchanger problems. That experience saves you time and money.
